SHAKESPEARE SEMINAR!

Dragon Theatre's new Shakespeare Webinars is kicking off with a modern parallel: the 1595 Plague and how it relates to "A Midsummer Night's Dream".
During the first 20-minutes of the session we'll explore the ins and outs of the plague in England and how it affected his works. The remaining portion of the session will be a group discussion and a time to get your Shakespearian questions answered!

Take Acting Classes at Dragon Theatre in 2020!
Neva Hutchinson is offering an Advanced Acting Class for Adults!
For previous students and actors who have experience.
Classes are 90 minutes, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
- Each Tuesday, June 30 - August 4, 2020
Showcase for this class is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
Session One: Students learn techniques for sliding into the scene with simple methods.
Session Two: Prior preparation is key: how to begin work on the scene.
Session Three: Analyzing a script. Students will learn how to break a script down into learnable moments.
Session Four: Memorizing a script: 2 simple techniques.
Session Five: The use of props and what they tell us.
Session Six: Rehearsal and final presentation.
